Tonight is the night we "spring forward". We have to remember to set our clocks ahead one hour to accommodate Daylight Saving time. This is, in my opinion, one of the most ridiculous things ever. Everyone says 'oh, but now we have more daylight to play in' & 'isn't it great we don't have to turn on the lights so often'.
I say RUBBISH!
We have plenty of daylight hours folks - just be patient. This whole concept of changing clocks muddles the system and disrupts the schedule not once, but twice a year. Seriously folks. Time may be relative but I see absolutely no reason to fiddle with it.
If I could have one thing from Arizona...this would be it. The consistency of never having to change my clock and the luxury of having prime time start on Central time so all the good shows are finished before ten at night.
In case you'd like a little more information on Daylight Saving time and the bold, independent move made by Arizona to refuse to participate in such nonsense, read & listen here. You can also read here.
So, when I'm cranky for the next bit of time...it's not you, it's Daylight Saving time. ARGH!
***I guess I'll accept the snow whitening my landscape as a consolation prize. Let it continue into next week, please.***

The really sad thing? That's that they DO have Daylight Savings Time over here in the UK ... but that the US now changes their clocks on a different day than the rest of the world (thanks, George Dubya)! That means that we've got to juggle our schedules (online chats & whatnot) four times per year, not just twice!
