Last weekend I posted about things being clean. I do like clean. After my post I was highly motivated and dug right into the second room of my place. I knew I was going to re-organise the whole room and get rid of things that haven't been used. I think one of the best parts of really cleaning stuff out is getting rid of stuff that is just collecting dust!

Here is a shot of most of the room before I started my little project:
The desk area was pretty hideous as well with bills and paperwork I hadn't filed in three months. Yah, I know. Me=LAZY!
The whole project didn't take too long. About four hours later I had relocated my crafting supplies, re-organised the closet and gotten rid of a bunch of junk: two boxes for the goodwill, a box of recycling and a very large bad of trash to be exact. It's not perfect. I need to sell my bike and trainer (anyone in the market? It's basically brand new--about 50 miles on it)
In the end...the floor is completely open, no clutter, no stacks, most of the things along the wall will be mailed by Christmas,...and then there will be even more clean to admire!
Next on my super-cleaning-project-list is the outdoor storage closet...then I'm going to re-organise the laundry area. During this process...I'll be decorating for the holiday season!
Hooray!
Do you guys enjoy cleaning/re-organising and decorating???
: )
I absolutely love it when everything is clean! I spent a bit of time on Saturday just going through stuff, doing laundry, eradicating clutter and my big accomplishment: getting rid of an OLD TV that has been sitting in my living room acting like a side table. When I say old...I mean old. There is a photo right there... It cost me $25 to get rid of it and I had to get it from my place into my auto-yikes! That thing weighs a TON!
There's always something to be done...I'm very much looking forward to finding some hooks so that I can hang up my wonderful aprons. I am rather messy in the kitchen...so aprons are imperative. I figure hooks are inexpensive and Linens-n-Things is going out of business...this is some decorating that fits my budget!
I write all this knowing that I've been tossing stuff around in my spare room knowing that it needs an overhaul. That is next on my big To-Do list. Argh. Always something.
It also struck me that it is less than two months until Christmas. Time to get hoppin' on projects and such! Ah...I do love this time of year!!!
