Last Monday my dear friend Lissa and I baked these really yummy cinnamon rolls! It was an odd week...and I'm just posting almost a full week later. Ah, well...We used the recipe in the little books that came with our KitchenAid mixers. We decided double icing would be a necessity...and oh yes, we were right!!
It was a fun afternoon...making yummy sweet bread, playing with kids and trains and play-doh...catching up after much too long!
Here are a couple more photos of us rolling up the sweet cinnamonny goodness inside the dough to make the rolls. We took turns...and learned it's good to make the dough into a rectangle if that's what the recipe says to do...even if it's not easy!!
So...we haven't decided what we'll be attempting the next time we decide to cook...perhaps something savory :)Whatever it is...I'll try to post it up much more quickly!
